Return to Work Coordinator Training

There is no prerequisite for you to attend the training.

The objective of the training is to give you the tools & knowledge to have successful returns to work.

Work Conditioning Services is an accredited company by Worksafe to provide a 2 day ‘Return to Work Coordination’ training either in your workplace with a minimum of 5 employees or at our  preferred locations.

Getting an injured worker back to work in a safe, timely and sustainable way is good for workers and good for business.

Achieving a worker’s successful return to work improves workplace morale, assists productivity and helps keep your employer’s premium down.

The role of the Return To Work Coordinator is to assist injured workers to return to work and their employer to meet their obligations under the Workers Injury Rehabilitation Compensation Act 2013.

Course Outline

  • employers legal obligations, responsibilities & rights
  • Injured workers obligations, responsibilities & rights
  • how we (employer) can support injured worker back to work
  • basic claims processes
  • working with your workcover agent
  • engaging managers / supervisors in the return to work process

As this is a Worksafe endorsed course, you will receive a reference folder, certificate of completion & a USB filled with all of WorkSafe’s current publications.

$440 (including GST)

We also offer in house training one on one for an extra $100.

* Course can be completed in one day if you have a base knowledge of RTW.

Every organisation with over $2 million remuneration must have an appropriately senior and competent Return to Work Coordinator at all times.

Organisations with less than $2 million remuneration must appoint an appropriately senior and competent Return to Work Coordinator for the duration of the organisation’s return to wok obligations.
