A healthy workplace implements workplace health programs and policies to create a supportive culture and environment collaboratively with employees & employers, enhancing positive social conditions, building personal skills, organisational resilience and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Workplace health promotion 2 day training program

WCS offers a 2 day workplace health promotion training course on ‘how to’ engage key stakeholders, complete needs analysis, develop action plans, tips on implementation and evaluation tools.


This course aims to provide you with knowledge and develop your understanding of the need for a workplace health program within your organisation.

Course Outline:

This course equips you with skills to initiate, plan, develop and implement workplace health programs that focus on the application of preventive lifestyle strategies and make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of all those engaged in the workplace, and their families.

Key topic areas include gaining management support, determining employees’ needs and interests, establishing goals, promoting and evaluating the program, changing the corporate culture and return on investment. We focus on six key aspects of promoting good health at work: encouraging employees to Eat Well, Move More, maintain a Healthy Weight, be Smoke-free and reduce consumption of Alcohol & mental health.
